“Christmas in July”

For the Supervising Adult: If you did not receive a kit from Church, but still want to do the crafts designed for “Christmas in July” this PDF is for You. Specific items that were included in the kit: markers, scissors, glue, scotch tape. So, you will need these supplies. Every effort has been made to use materials you probably have around your house. Have your child help you find all the supplies at the start of each project. If you have a computer and can download PDF and print them, you will be able to do almost all of the crafts. If your printer can print on card stock, that is the substrate of choice, but paper will work. The crafts should be done with an adult’s supervision. Not all of the crafts are appropriate for all ages. Safety first! Read the projects over, gather the materials, and adjust projects, if necessary. Let your child know they can take as much time as they need. There is no rush to complete a project. When they are tired of working on a project, save it for another time. You can do the projects in any order, but they are set up here to be synchronized with the nativity story. This gives you an opportunity to share with your child the “real” story of Christmas.
